Emma Vickman Impresses in Her First Championships as a Paracyclist

What a debut at the Swedish and Nordic Championships! Remember the name Emma Vickman. She only started paracycling in November – and has already dominated both the Swedish (SM) and Nordic (NM) Championships on the sun-drenched streets of Norrköping.

Also delivering a strong performance was Catharina Rutgersson, making her return to Championships after a serious injury in 2020.

Third place in the Nordic champs went to Anre Nõmme, Estonian paracycist.

Top-Class Danish Performance in Handcycling

Golf Yos-anan displayed incredible intensity in the handcycling race – something the Norrköping crowd witnessed firsthand on Thursday as the Dane won the Nordic title. He lapped every competitor, even with the pursuit format taken into account.

The scorching sun seemed to wear down everyone else – including the audience. "Impressive" is the word.

Strong performances also came from the Danish runner-up Stephan Laukamp, third place went to Louise Winckler.
