Nordic BMX Commissaires Training Project 2025 held in Ängelholm

From 18–20 July, the Nordic BMX Commissaires Training Project took place in Ängelholm alongside the UEC BMX European Cup Rounds 9 & 10. The initiative aimed to strengthen the skills and collaboration of BMX commissaires across the Nordic countries.

Commissaires from Sweden, Estonia, and Denmark participated in both theoretical sessions and hands-on training during high-level races. The program focused on race formats and regulations, incident handling, communication, teamwork, and consistency in officiating.

The training served as key preparation for Nordic commissaires appointed by the Danish Cycling Federation to officiate at the UCI BMX World Championships in Copenhagen. UCI officials gave very positive feedback, highlighting the professionalism and readiness of the Nordic commissaires.

Beyond improving individual competencies, the project also enhanced cooperation between nations and strengthened the consistency of BMX officiating in the Nordic region.
