Nordic Championship BMX 2026 Ängelholm

The 2026 Nordic BMX Championships were a success for the host club, Engelholms BMX 8-9 August. 

"We have received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from commissaires, spectators, riders, and clubs from across the Nordic and Baltic regions. The Danish national representative remarked that we had taken the Nordic Championships to an 'outstanding level.' Our plan worked; we delivered quality and created a festive, impressive atmosphere for the opening ceremony, the event itself, and the awards ceremony." – Anders Berner, Race Director, 2026 Nordic Championships.
As mentioned, the 2026 Nordic BMX Racing Championships were a success—thanks to the fantastic efforts of the nearly 350 riders competing for medals. This is BMX racing at its best. 

The sun shone brightly from a clear blue sky, and the track was in top condition.Sweden and Engelholms BMX now pass the banner to Tuusula, Finland, which will host the 2027 Nordic Championships. 

Engelholms BMX pulled off something amazing this year! Thanks to sponsorship from Ängelholm Kommun and Backahill, and in collaboration with BMXtjejer.se, they were able to offer all girls registered for the championship a training day with none other than Malene Kejlstrup. Malene is an elite BMX racer and a member of the Danish national team. She became the U23 World Champion in 2022, competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics, and finished second in the first round of the 2026 World Cup in Sarrians. The event was incredibly well-received, and everyone wanted it to become a regular feature at every championship—an opportunity for the girls to meet across national borders, find inspiration, and have fun together.
