Successful Nordic Cycling Cyclo-cross Commissaires’ Course in Sweden
The Nordic Cycling Cyclo-cross Commissaires' Course took place on 11–12 October in Täby, Sweden, alongside the Fristads CX competition. The practical training seminar was organised in cooperation with UEC, UCI, and Nordic Cycling, with support from the Swedish Cycling Federation and the local organisers.
The course was led by Jakob Knudsen (DEN) and Martin Eadon (GBR), who provided a well-balanced mix of theoretical lessons and on-site practical experience. According to participants, the course was very well structured and thoroughly prepared, offering both confirmation of existing knowledge and valuable new perspectives from experienced UCI commissaires.
The weekend also fostered constructive cooperation between colleagues from Sweden, Norway and Estonia, creating a great opportunity to exchange ideas and practical tips for more efficient event management. The seminar once again demonstrated the importance of Nordic collaboration in developing cycling officiating across the region.
