Top Nordic Riders to Compete in 2025 Nordic BMX Championship in Denmark

05/08/2025

BJERRINGBRO, DENMARK – The countdown is on for one of the most anticipated BMX racing events for Nordic Cycling. On 30–31 August 2025, the Bjerringbro BMX Arena in Denmark will host the 2025 Nordic BMX Championship, bringing together elite riders from across the Nordic and Baltic regions for two days of adrenaline-pumping competition.

Organized by Bjerringbro BMX Club in collaboration with Danmarks Cykle Union, the event will feature top-tier racing in both Championship and Challenge classes on a state-of-the-art track. The arena includes both a Supercross (SX) straight with a 5-meter start hill and a standard track—providing a world-class stage for all age groups and categories.

Two Days of Racing Action

The program begins on Saturday, August 30, with the Nordic Championship races. Competitors in classes ranging from Men and Women Elite, U23, and Juniors, as well as age-based Challenge and Cruiser categories, will battle it out for podium positions, medals, and prize money. Notably, the novice class offers a non-ranking format for riders under 10 years old, promoting inclusivity and grassroots development.

On Sunday, August 31, the Bjerringbro Open will take center stage. Open to Pro and Challenge classes alike, this event invites broader participation, including international and local riders looking for high-level competition.

Family-Friendly Atmosphere

Spectators can expect more than just racing. The event promises a vibrant festival atmosphere, including:

  • Food trucks and vendor stalls

  • A rider village and warm-up area

  • Free admission for all visitors

With Bjerringbro's scenic location along Denmark's longest river, the Gudenå, the weekend is set to offer both sporting excitement and a welcoming community vibe.
